Late November
The busiest and most heavily discounted days of the year. Centers open early with door-buster pricing and the deepest storewide percentages.
Either arrive before 7am or after 7pm; mid-day crowds mean full car parks and long fitting-room lines.
Late December / early January
Holiday overstock, winter outerwear and gift sets are re-ticketed rather than couponed. January clearance is often deeper than Black Friday for apparel.
Go December 26 for the first markdown, then again in mid-January for final clearance on whatever is left.
Late May
One of the three biggest outlet weekends of the year. Stores extend hours and layer storewide discounts on top of clearance.
Arrive at opening on Saturday; parking lots fill by mid-morning at destination centers.
Early September
The last big summer clear-out. Anything seasonal that is left gets marked down aggressively before autumn floorsets arrive.
Buy summer now and leave autumn stock on the rack; new-season pieces will sit at full outlet price for weeks.
Early July
A patriotic-themed storewide event, but the real value follows in the two weeks after, when summer apparel is re-ticketed.
Wait until the week after July 4 for genuine clearance on swimwear, shorts and sandals rather than the holiday promotion.
Mid-February
The first storewide extra-percent-off event of the year. Coupon books are refreshed and most centers run four-day promotions.
Go Saturday morning before the best sizes are gone, and stack the center coupon book with the brand's email offer.
Mid-November
A smaller storewide weekend that gives early access to some holiday inventory without the Black Friday crush.
Use it for gift sets and cold-weather accessories that will be picked over by Thanksgiving week.
Scattered (spring and fall)
Brand-specific invite codes and VIP early-access windows. Less crowded than national holidays and sometimes the best price on new arrivals.

The first three weeks are true clearance rather than a promotion: centers are clearing holiday overstock and winter outerwear before spring floorsets land. Coats, boots and knitwear commonly sit at 50–70% off original retail, and outlet stores hold end-of-line racks at a further reduction on top of that. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday January 18, 2027) is the last long weekend before the racks are thinned out.
